MACHINE OPERATOR

Operate a variety of addressing, inserting and mailing equipment.  Responsible for set-up, tear down and running of work orders.  Able to work efficiently and consistently with focus on quality.  Able to fit in with a collaborative production team.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

The position has the following major areas of responsibility:

  • Operating addressing, inserting, folding and cutting equipment for mail services.
  • Perform routine maintenance on mail machinery.
  • Load data into computers which match to work orders that are being produced.
  • Load pieces into machines for addressing and sort into proper trays upon completion.
  • Palletize and prepare for delivery to USPS.
  • Drive mail to USPS and enter into bulk mail stream.
  • Other Duties that May be Assigned

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Operate a variety of addressing, inserting and mailing equipment.  Responsible for set-up, tear down and running of work orders.  Able to work efficiently and consistently with focus on quality.  Able to fit in with a collaborative production team.

  1. Able to lift up to 75 pounds
  2. Able to drive a forklift
  3. Capable of managing a pallet jack
  4. Able to stand for an extended period of time when operating mailing equipment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Position requires general aptitude for working with machinery equipment and general knowledge of how to make some mechanical repairs.  Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently to produce quality work for the client.  Able to work independently or in tandem with other operators.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

This position requires high school graduation or completion of GED.  Candidates need to have valid Driver’s License with good driving record.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

To assist front office staff with a wide variety of clerical functions.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

The position has the following major areas of responsibility:

  • Answer telephones and route callers to the appropriate office staff member
  • File payables by vendor, completed job tickets and other appropriate paperwork
  • Maintain client and vendor files
  • Maintain office supplies and order when necessary
  • Make collection calls to clients
  • Upload data to USPS Dashboard website
  • Process job ticket data in BCC software system
  • Print labels on various office printers
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of front office
  • Assist Customer Service by making client contacts on overs and partner contacts on deliveries
  • Manage stamp inventories and disbursing
  • Set-up and manage print jobs for envelopes and black & white letters 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Ability to type 40 words per minute
  2. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  3. Intermediate computer skills
  4. Intermediate skill set in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
  5. Ability to edit in Adobe Professional software
  6. Knowledge of the following software is a plus: InDesign, Illustrator and Midnight

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Position requires working knowledge of modern office procedures, practices and equipment.  The ability to think through issues and resolve them without having to involve a lot of additional personnel is important in this role.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

This position requires high school graduation or completion of GED.  Must have one (1) year of general office experience utilizing administrative and computer based skills in an office environment (or equivalent education and training).

SALES ASSOCIATE

Represent Company to specific prospects and accounts in selling printing and mailing services to meet client marketing or business activities.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

The position has the following major areas of responsibility:

  • Generate leads and maintain consistent follow-up with appropriate decision-makers at prospect or client.
  • Learn to create estimates for printing and mailing using company estimating software.
  • Sell clients and prospects on the value-added capabilities the company offers to the market.
  • Promote company and company product and services in manner consistent with company's desired image in the market.
  • Maintain calling records and reports.
  • Build prospect list and document future sale opportunities with prospects and clients.
  • Maintain relationship with prospect and client to ensure that service provided by company meets client expectations.
  • Work closely with rest of sales team to ensure that prospecting and calling is completed in manner which fits overall plan of company.
  • Attend company marketing events and client meetings when required.
  • Work with client services and company production team to effectively coordinate all parties in serving the needs of the client.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Able to make cold calls, generate leads and follow up on prospects.
  2. Able to maintain records of calling activity to review with Sales Manager.
  3. Generate positive relations with all clients and prospects in the market.
  4. Initiate activities and sales efforts on your own (a self-starter).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

This position requires the following knowledge skills and abilities:

  1. Tenacious in handling rejection and maintaining a positive attitude with prospects and clients.
  2. Client focused in gaining new sales.
  3. Able to concentrate 40 hours or more each week on prospecting and selling for the company.
  4. ​​​​​​​Knowledge of how to listen, understand and create an effective process to generate sales.
  5. Ability to think through issues and resolve them without having to involve a lot of additional personnel.
  6. Possess excellent verbal communication skills
  7. Has enthusiasm and patience when dealing with the client and prospect.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

This position requires high school graduation or completion of GED.  Must have two (2) years of sales experience in similar industry (printing/mailing) is desired.  A history of proven sales results with the ability to achieve results under pressure to meet quotas and deadlines is a must for this position.  The ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and learn company's CRM tool is required.
